So here is another link from @ElijiahT on Twitter that ended up completely not being what I asked for at all.

I asked for Elijiah to give me a blog post of his own with evidence of christianity being true, but instead he sends me a link to what would convince him to be an Atheist from some podcast he did. The podcast was even more pointless and devoid of anything that could be counted as “evidence” for christianity being true.
I unfortunately feel like Elijiah is just sending me on a “wild goose chase” to waste my time, but at least I will have another obstacle out of the way and can then harp on him about being brainwashed again and pressure him regarding what moment of emotional weakness he was in when he became a christian.
The podcast is numbered on the left side. Let’s start off with point # 20.
.
20) Here Elijiah says that he’s examined the evidence for christianity and found the evidence to be in christianity’s favor.
.
a) He never says what any of the evidence is, or was.
.
b) By the way, almost a year ago and on the very first conversation I ever had with Elijiah, he talked about this story he mentions here, so this story of his is nothing new.
.
c) Whenever I repeatedly ask him since then and bring this story up about what evidence caused him to become a christian, he always says the same thing.
.
– “He doesn’t remember”.
.
– “That was a long time ago”.
.
– “I already told you”. Which of course is a lie.
.
– “(something else that’s meaningless in order for him to deflect)”
.
.
25) This point says that Elijiah only “embraced” christianity because of the evidence itself.
.
a) Again reminding everyone that for almost a year I have repeatedly asked and asked Elijiah for evidence of Jesus and all things regarding Jesus, but he has given me nothing, but repeatedly implied he has.
.
b) Elijiah is of course lying as he repeatedly does, but it never seems to stop him.
.
c) Do feel free to ask @ElijiahT on Twitter for evidence of Jesus and christianity and he will do one of the following:
.
– Deflect what you are trying to ask him.
.
– Send you a meaningless link where the only evidence is the bible itself.
.
– Send you a link that he already knows is meaningless and worthless because Atheists have shown him already, but he’ll send it anyways.
.
– Several ways of being condescending to try to get you to second guess yourself and to deflect and waste your time.
.
d) If however you DON’T call Elijiah out on his deflecting and DON’T press Elijiah to give you evidence of christianity, he will be more than happy to talk about anything else in order to not have to actually give you evidence.
.
– In fact if you don’t press Elijiah on any of the real issues he doesn’t want to answer, then he will try to befriend you, manipulate you and use you against other Atheists who see through his tactics and make him answer questions he doesn’t want to.
.
e) Elijiah will waste your time with cosmology, intelligent design, evolutionary talk, but nothing that is barely anything more than an attempt at arguing for deism.
.
– Oh and don’t forget philosophy he looooves to waste peoples time with Philosophy.
.
.
26) Elijiah admits that he was brought up in a christian home and did go to church, which actually really is a relevant bit of information actually now that I think about it.
.
a) He lied to me before and said he wasn’t child indoctrinated and was an Atheist who discovered christianity.
.
b) He is now admitting that that was a lie.
.
c) His childhood indoctrination played a strong influence on his attitude and acceptence of christianity and he can’t say that it didn’t.
.
.
29) Elijiah says “the reasons that caused him to embrace christian theism were many”.
.
a) Please hold onto something for all the astonishing evidence of christianity you’re about to hear.
.
b) Of course having read this beforehand I know that he really says nothing.
.
– Sorry to spoil the surprise.
.
.
As with everything with Elijiah, it’s having your time wasted, so I am just going to try to breeze through his points in each number and for example say if it merely only applies to deism, or something else.
.
Elijiah’s wasted enough of my time, so I should at least not dwell too much if I can help it and just get this overwith. Please do follow along with the his article at the same time if you aren’t already:
.
.
31) Deism.
.
.
32) Nothing that proves christianity, just an OPINION and that’s it.
.
.
33) Deism.
.
.
34) Some nonsense about his OPINION that humans are made in the image of God.
– Another meaningless nothing answer that has nothing to do with proving christianity.
.
.
35) He believes there is historical evidence of Jesus’s resurrection based on what the bible says.
.
a) He never mentions what that is and couldn’t be more vague.
.
b) He is basically skipping over the entire reason we were waiting for, but with him saying nothing at all of any significance.
.
c) The bible of course is non-historical and especially the new testament.
.
.
36) More OPINION about how Elijiah thinks that the bible was divinely written by God and yeah, nothing else but opinion.
.
a) Just opinion and Elijiah has no good reasons based on these REAL facts here:
.
– There’s no evidence of Jesus and all evidence points to Jesus and christianity being created simply for the purpose of dismissing and replacing Judaism and it’s silly laws.
.
– The new testament is filled with forgeries which are including the gospel canon.
.
– Several other great points I will point out again here:
.
b) There really is not one single reason why one might think that the bible was divinely written whatsoever.
.
.
37) Nothing about christianity, but some babble about evolution.
.
.
38) More talk about evolution and NOT christianity.
.
.
39) Babble about freewill and nothing that supports christianity.
.
.
40) An unbelievably vague answer about how Elijiah studied other religions of the world but they just didn’t make as much sense as christianity.
.
a) Tells us nothing.
.
b) Doesn’t say how christianity is true.
.
c) Doesn’t say how anything about christianity makes any sense whatsoever.
.
d) Coincidentally Elijiah chose the religion that his family believed and that he was raised to believe since birth.
.
.
41) Talks about his personal experiences proving christianity being true, but never says a single personal experience.
.
a) This is a meaningless answer.
.
b) Elijiah has never mentioned a personal experience with me in almost a year, so he must not think it’s real evidence of anything.
.
.
42-43) Says there are a bunch of little answers why christianity is true, but doesn’t want to sound “gish-galloping”.
.
a) Seriously? Then Atheist religious enablers wonder why I get annoyed with Elijiah and start insulting him and lose my patience.
.
b) This is supposed to be the answer of a rational human being? HUH?!
.
.
44-46) He just says that he believes christian theism explains the world better than any other religion.
.
a) Another non-answer.
.
b) Elijiah gives nothing but non-answers.
.
c) Tells us nothing and couldn’t be more vague.
.
.
47-54) Elijiah quotes Paul in the new testament as his evidence.
.
a) Using the bible to prove the bible? Huh?
.
b) What I just don’t understand is how I seem to be one of few who see how dishonest, misleading and meaningless Elijiah and everything he says really is.
.
c) If Elijiah has shown us how everything he says is a complete lie, how does anyone take Elijiah seriously with his philosophy?
.
d) Since everything about his evidence of christianity is a lie, how could Elijiah’s philosophy be any more honest and trustworthy than his “factual evidence” is.
.
– A great example would be the greatest liar on Earth, William Lane Craig who uses philosophy also.
.
.
55-56) He basically says that even if he didn’t believe in christianity, he would still believe in God.
.
a) That isn’t what we care about though and even if Elijiah were a deist who would even care?
.
b) Unless you’re Deepak Chopra then who cares also?
.
c) Just empty and meaningless answers when it comes to proof of christianity.
.
.
57-58) What is natural philosophy? Is there really such a thing?
.
a) Well is that supposed to be a step up from deism then, or something?
.
b) Still tells us nothing along the lines of evidence of christianity being true.
.
.
59-61) This answer was just absolutely mind-blowing. I mean seriously WTF?!
.
Let’s go through this:
a) Elijiah challenges the listeners of the podcast to examine the evidence of christianity.
.
– What evidence? This is the whole reason people were listening and reading this is for evidence.
.
– Does Elijiah think people are this stupid to accept this answer?
.
– Unfortunately they are and he knows it.
.
b) I think it’s funny how he says “don’t just dismiss it” as in don’t just dismiss the evidence.
.
– He hasn’t given us any evidence though, other than a silly quote from Paul out of the bible.
.
– If Elijiah is ASKING us to not dismiss his story that has no evidence then I’m asking people to read this story here and not to simply dismiss it:
.
.
– I showed that story to Elijiah a while ago and he simply dismissed it, like he is asking people not to do with HIS story.
.
c) I like how he says that “people have an opportunity to have a relationship with the creator of the universe”.
.
– He of course again gives no evidence of this.
.
– Elijiah fails to rationalize why the creator of the universe would ever be lonely, or create people simply for the purpose of torturing and why it would need a relationship with anyone?
.
d) I love how Elijiah says “through Christ’s sacrifice”, like that makes any sense.
.
– What sacrifice?
.
– What evidence?
.
– How does God killing himself, to save us from himself, because of what he was going to do to us himself, if we didn’t kill him first, make any sense?
.
– Didn’t the story go that he came back to life?
.
– How was that supposed to be a sacrifice? Doesn’t Elijiah believe Jesus is God?
.
– So if what Elijiah believes was even true then it wouldn’t be a sacrifice either.
.
– I actually did a blog story on “Jesus’s Sacrifice”. Give it a read.
.
.
e) I really laughed when Elijiah said “how awesome it would be to have a relationship with the creator of the universe”.
.
– Which shows how much of a robot Elijiah has become that he spends his time consumed with thinking he is going to have an eternity of ass-kissing and looks forward to it.
.
– He’s so funny.
.
.
62-63) He says “he still has questions but nothing that would make, or break christianity”.
.
Well obviously Elijiah isn’t asking the right questions. Let’s try a few:
.
a) How come there really isn’t any evidence whatsoever of christianity?
.
b) Why is there no more evidence for christianity than there is for islam?
.
c) Why is Jesus so weak that he needs people like Elijiah to defend him?
.
d) What if people are just brainwashed and child indoctrinated to believe in things that make no sense?
.
e) How come Atheists can prove they aren’t brainwashed, but religious people can’t?
.
.
f) What is the difference between this universe that we live in and a universe that’s exactly the same as this that wouldn’t have a “God” in it at all?
.
g) If religious people suddenly became non-believers how would their life be any different? (Besides having more money from not giving it to the church).
.
h) Why does every single thing that Richard Carrier says here make perfect sense?
.
.
i) Maybe ask some of the questions that caused Bart Ehrman to become agnostic before he was Atheist:
.
.
Hundreds of more questions that Elijiah and other christians really need to ask themselves.
.
.
64) He then says “what would it take to change my mind about God?”
.
a) Whether or not Elijiah believes in God is really unimportant when you think about it.
.
b) A simple belief in gods is not the problem, but specifically religion itself is what the problem is.
.
– As I show here:
.
.
c) Again Elijiah is merely deflecting and misdirecting us from talking about christianity.
.
d) I am in awe and in shock that Elijiah said “that his current beliefs would have to be dismantled systematically in order for him to change his beliefs”.
.
e) They have many times over been dismantled systematically.
.
– The entire history of christianity has been shown to be nothing but hearsay.
.
– All evidence of Jesus and christianity being true outside of the bible have been thoroughly debunked.
.
.
– Multiple frauds and forgeries have been discovered throughout christianity’s history.
.
– Nothing in the new testament has found to be credible, or reliable for a repeated number of reasons already, but I will repeat some again.
.
.
– Let Bart Ehrman list a few more reasons:
.
.
f) So again Elijiah has been caught lying and he is fully aware of everything I’ve mentioned thus far.
.
– Elijiah simply refuses to admit, or accept the truth.
.
65-66) Elijiah says “that’s not him being close-minded, or arrogant, or anything”.
.
a) I don’t know whether to laugh, or cry.
.
b) Kidding of course. I’m definitely laughing.
.
.
68-68) Elijiah completely contradicts himself here and he is either lying through his teeth, or has not been paying attention.
.
a) It is definitely shown that Jesus did not rise from the dead.
.
– No proof it happened, or that anything in christianity happened.
.
– Obviously and demonstratably created to replace one prophet of God and his laws (Moses) with another prophet of God and his dismissal of those laws (Jesus).
.
– There isn’t a bit of evidence that shows christianity to be true.
.
– The forgeries.
.
– The recycled stories from the old testament.
.
– Christianity is the exact same as thousands of religions with prophets and saviors throughout history.
.
> Joseph Smith
> Muhammed
> Buddha
> L. Ron Hubbard
> Hercules
.
– Many many more, but I just want to get this article overwith.
.
.
69-73) He says that if he found christianity to be unconvincing that he would look into other religions.
.
a) LOL Ok suuuure Elijiah.
.
– Since you constantly lie about everything else I’m going to purely go on my gut and say that you never researched any other religions at all.
.
.
74-75) Elijiah says he would have to be shown that the universe didn’t need fine-tuning and could create itself.
.
a) How about if Stephen Hawking said so?
.
.
b) What about Sean Carroll?
.
.
.
76-80) Then he basically says that after all these things were done (they’ve already been done though) that he would embrace agnosticism.
———————————————
.
So there you have it.
.
We have:
.
– Deflection
.
– Lying
.
– Time wasting
.
– Dishonesty
.
– Someone who obviously is convinced that people are complete morons and that these are acceptable answers that “prove” christianity.
.
– Someone who has watched Star Wars way too many times and is utterly convinced that they are either a Jedi, or Sith Lord and can do the mind trick over the internet.
.
Eijiah still has given no evidence, no answers and shown that he is completely incapable of telling the truth.
